Teder initiated Georges Lagrez into martinism on June 30, 1906, he was a member of the Supreme Council under Papus from October 8, 1908, and also served as Inspecteur Principal of the Martinist Order from October 10, 1908. Teder also accepted Lagrez in the Kabbalistic Order of the Rose + Cross. He was a Chevalier du Temple et Prefet of Strict Observance and the Swedish Rite. In 1937, several officers of the Grand Prieure de Helvetia of the “Chevaliers Bienfaisants de la Site Sainte” recognized Georges Lagrez as the “Grand Profes”. Lagrèze was also a mason of the 33rd degree of the Ancient Scottish Rite in the “Grand East of France” and an honorary member of the Grand Lodge of Denmark. On September 9, 1909, he received a charter and 33/35 degrees of Ancient and Primitive Rite of Memphis-Misraim from John Yarker. Jean Bricaud "confirmed" these degrees. Lagrèze was also the Grand Master of the Elus Cohens and the Rose-Cross d’Orient. In the professional field, Georges Lagrez served as the chief director of the Strasbourg Theater.
